The Globe of Peace was a relic of the Naboo people. It symbolized the many years of peace on the planet Naboo. After a parade in Theed to celebrate victory over the Trade Federation in the Battle of Naboo, Queen Padmé Amidala gave the Globe of Peace to Boss Rugor Nass, sealing the accord made between the Gungans and the Naboo.[1]
Behind the scenes
In the 2022 non-canon video game LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, Nass is shown lifting the globe in Theed as in the film, but it is then knocked from his hands when fellow Gungan Jar Jar Binks accidentally rolls into him while balanced on a booma. After Binks rolls away with the globe, Nass instead takes a frog from Captain Roos Tarpals and holds that aloft in the globe's place.[2]
