The "Liberation Day" Parade[3] was a celebration held in the capital city of Theed on the planet Naboo following the defeat of the Trade Federation during the Battle of Naboo[2] in 32 BBY.[1] The celebration was attended by the native Gungans and Naboo people, who had worked together to defeat the invaders with the aid of the Jedi Order, and so the Jedi High Council also attended. During the parade, Queen Padmé Amidala of the Naboo gave the Globe of Peace to Boss Rugor Nass of the Gungans.[2]
