After Varga stopped answering communications, EE'zok, an operative of Crimson Dawn, dispatched the scoundrel Kay Vess to find Varga at Daroona House. Vess searched the house and discovered the meetup location between Varga and the pirates. Vess proceeded to rescue Varga from the pirates and dispatched Galactic Empire forces. Afterward Vess transported Varga to the outer rim moon Toshara where she joined Crimson Dawn.[1]

Also during 3 ABY,[2] Vess retrieved a damaged holodisc from the ranch that pointed to a Miyuki Trade League vault on Tatooine. Vess also found a copy of part three of the Love on Deck 5 holodrama at the ranch.[1]
