The Galov system was a star system in the Galov sector of the Outer Rim Territories,[1] along[5] the Triellus Trade Route[4] that contained the space station Relay Post Epsilon One during the High Republic Era. Tempest Runner Lourna Dee of the Nihil marauder organization attempted to capture the relay station under orders from Eye of the Nihil Marchion Ro. A response by the Galactic Republic and Jedi Order saw a battle break out in the Galov system. Though the relay station was destroyed by the Nihil after their boarding teams failed to capture it, with only two of the crew surviving, the Republic and Jedi boarded Dee's flagship, the Lourna Dee, capturing a number of Nihil.[3]
Behind the scenes
The Galov system appeared in the 2021 audio drama The High Republic: Tempest Runner, written by Cavan Scott. Though the spelling of subjects in the audio drama is unconfirmed,[3] the comic The High Republic (2021) 9 identified the battle depicted in Tempest Runner, confirming the spelling of the system's name.[6]

(In response to: Hi @jasoncfry.bsky.social, was hoping you could confirm for Wookieepedia purposes that the hyperspace routes depicted on the Galaxy Map given out at Celebration are intended to be the same routes as in Legends. Sorry to bother, but would make our lives much easier to have it confirmed!)" (screenshot).
