Fried-nuna was a type of food made from nunas,[1] omnivore birds native to the planet Naboo.[2] Around 56 BBY,[3] Czerka Corporation worker Rahara Wick escaped her enslavers by stealing a knife from a fried-nuna vendor to cut out her slave chip while on[1] the planet[4] Ord Mantell. Years later, she would recall the experience and remember the pain of the knife's cut and felt no regret.[1] Throughout the galaxy, fried-nuna was considered to be a popular dish.[5] Nuna could also be deep fried to create meals like the Nuna drumstick.[6]
Behind the scenes
Fried-nuna was first mentioned in Master & Apprentice, a 2019 novel by Claudia Gray.[1]
