- "Have you finished whipping the roe? I want to fold the meringue into the curd just before the tarts go back in the oven."
- ―Torro Sbazzle, to Gersolik
Frella-fish roe was an ingredient made from the roe of a frella fish. When whipped, the roe could be turned into a creamy meringue with stiff, cloudlike peaks, but for most species, eating too much of it dulled one's senses and put them in a happy, dazed state.[1]
In 3 ABY,[2] the Ugnaught sous-chef Gersolik perfectly prepared frella-fish roe by whipping it into the appropriate peaks for her head chef, the Devaronian Torro Sbazzle, while working in Cloud City of the gas giant Bespin. When Sbazzle asked if she was finished, wanting to fold the meringue into a curd, Gersolik confirmed so but trailed off, her mind elsewhere, leading the Devaronian to think that her sous-chef had consumed too much of the roe when tasting it.[1]
