The Layout Guide states: "Canon and Legends mainspace articles shall not document content from Star Wars "parody" projects (examples: Family Guy: "Blue Harvest," Phineas and Ferb: Star Wars, and Robot Chicken: Star Wars) unless there is a specific referential need in the article's "Behind the scenes" section."

OOM is correct in saying that covering these parody characters is clearly outside the scope of Wookieepedia, so I don't understand why he thinks redirecting these articles, and thus maintaining them in any form, is better than just deleting them outright. Redirects are cheap, but they're also sometimes just unnecessary. Worse, if we lock ourselves into requiring these redirects to exist through this TC, then in the instance a legitimate in-universe subject ever needs to take the mainspace article for "Gladys" or "Hamster," which isn't out of the realm of possibility, then we force these legitimate articles to need to keep a navigational template like {{Youmay}} at the top of the page to cover these silly Phineas & Ferb characters. Like "This article covers the Batuu character Gladys. You may be looking for the character from Phineas & Ferb." That is also painfully outside the scope of Wookieepedia. We don't need to cater to the navigational needs of the few-and-far-between person who comes to Wookieepedia searching for Gladys from Phineas & Ferb. Redirect to Phineas and Ferb: Star Wars

  1. While the Layout Guide is specifically referring to articles on subjects that are not exclusive to parody projects, such as R2-D2 and Ben Solo, individual articles based entirely upon such projects are clearly outside the scope of Wookieepedia's coverage of Star Wars content.
