A species of small, brown furred creatures were native to the Forest Moon Endor. After her parents were rescued from the Gorax, Cindel Towani held one creature of this species in the Warrick family hut.[1]
Behind the scenes
This species first appeared in the 1984 television movie Caravan of Courage: An Ewok Adventure.[1] Caravan of Courage contained many real animals, including hamsters who were used to portray this creature.[2] Although the species has not received an in-universe name, hamsters were mentioned by name in the non-canon special Phineas and Ferb: Star Wars.[3]
In Drawing from the Present: Familiar Creatures in a Galaxy Far, Far Away, a 2013 article written for the Star Wars Blog by Tim Veekhoven and Mark Newbold, hamsters were mentioned among the many real-world animals that appeared in the Star Wars live-action movies.[2]
