Gladys was an individual who worked in the Galactic Empire's Accounting. During the Galactic Civil War, Gladys was promoted to commander. Afterward, the stormtrooper Candace claimed that Gladys was incapable of holding a blaster and failed that specific part of an exam four times by holding it backward and upside-down. Furthermore, Candace accused Gladys of being favored for the promotion because her second cousin was a "midlevel" Darth, while the stormtrooper was stuck on sock detail.[1]
