While I believe that Fiolli's idea has merit, I would much rather start with a clean slate—if indeed a list will be useful—once The Essential Atlas comes out, simply because I have found numerous instances of stars named purely on the basis of speculation/OR, and I suspect that we will have more than enough work involving corrections. Keep

  1. I am going to say to keep this for now. Unlike a lot of lists, this one could be very useful as we have the Essential Atlas coming out which will detail many of these stars. The information provided there could serve us to have a good list. Redlinks provided

It should probably be noted that there seems to be a tendency to assume that some stars are named, for example, "Earl," just because it's in the "Earl system." Take these redlinks for what they're worth, I guess. Toprawa and Ralltiir 04:15, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
