Kuna's Scale

Kuna's Scale was a supergiant star that the Moddell sector planet Maya Kovel's native species, the Ayrou, considered to be part of the Kuna constellation. Most of the stars in the constellation were located in the Moddell sector near Maya Kovel; however, Kuna's Scale, Kuna's Gullet, and Kuna's Heart were not. Despite their apparent proximity to the others in the constellation, the three bright stars were located in either adjacent sectors or Wild Space.^[1]

Kuna's Scale was mentioned in the article "Endor and the Moddell Sector," published in the ninth issue of the Star Wars Gamer magazine^[1] on February 22, 2002.^[2] Jason Fry, author of the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas and its Online Companion follow-up appendix of star systems, stated that Kuna's Gullet, Heart and Scale were excluded due to them being local names for existing stars.^[3]
