Indara's lightsaber (talk - history - links - logs - delete - protect)
Hey there, I was thinking that it would be more appropriate to merge this article with the main Indara article. I realize some may feel differently because there is a brief databank entry regarding Indara's Lightsaber. However, I don't see why this can't all be covered in a subsection of the primary Indara article (such as in the equipment section). If as the series progresses her Lightsaber becomes significant enough to warrant its own page then I think it can be reconsidered, but otherwise I don't see the need to have an entirely separate page for just her Lightsaber.

Hey, it's me! 02:10, 10 June 2024 (UTC) - The lightsaber has a databank entry, providing a nonconjecture name. Mae tries to grab the lightsaber multiple times during the fight. Indara uses it in a very specific manner (deflecting thrown knives). And there is BTS info, which I have unfortunately not been able to write all up yet. NBDani

It first has an ID in the official production brief, followed by a formal full ID because it has a dedicated Databank entry. It is also the lightsaber used for the primary/first poster artwork revealed for the series as a whole. In terms of BTS information, there's also information specifically about the lightsaber itself—how the lighting was added after filming, how each Jedi's color was picked by showrunner Leslye Headland, and how the weight of the weapon was affecting actors. There's also information about how Indara's actor and the character's stunt double practiced for the scenes and how long filming took, as well as the first scene in the noodle shop being one of the primary reasons Carrie-Anne Moss took the role, including that handling the lightsaber specifically was one of the most important parts she wanted to get right. There is also additonal information about how the sound for Indara's lightsaber was designed by Michael Abels to be custom from each other lightsaber in the show.—spookywillowwtalk 02:13, 10 June 2024 (UTC)
- While there definitely are cases where a lightsaber doesn't need an entire separate page, this one has enough info to support it. Zed42
