These articles are listed in List of measurement units, however these have no distinct difference to the Real-world equivalent. As such, I believe they should be deleted per WP:DICT. There's quite a few I think need to be deleted, so will work these in batches. None of these have been up for TC previously.

For those who think the fact these are named after "X thing" or "Y person", we delete dictionary articles all the time without looking at the etymology of the word being deleted. Some of the etymology of previously deleted articles for the same reason have unique real-world event/tradition/name origins that have nothing corresponding IU.

Additionally, my understanding is we should avoid linking to lists so redirects I think won't be useful.

This is a list of Imperial-system measurements (And G (unit) which was missed). Imperial system of measurement has nothing distinct about it IU, there is nothing to indicate it is any different to a real-world unit and therefore it is a dictionary article: there so the reader can picture the size of IU objects.

G (unit) (talk - history - links - logs - delete - protect)

Similar to the previously deleted G-force articles, there's nothing to indicate this is a measurement based on any IU thing (eg the gravity pull on Coruscant for example, instead of Earth). Missed as we had both canon and legends versions of G-force, which this article probably should've been amalgamated with if it had been kept.

  • (1) We already have links to some subjects and not others based on our own Notability guidelines; there is nothing that "looks weird" about this, and readers are used to it. (2) If someone doesn't know what an inch or a foot is, Wikipedia is there to enlighten them.   4. The earth unit is based roughly on the size of a human foot. What species' foot is this in-uiverse measure based off of? We don't know, so therefore can't speculate that it's the same measurement. - JMAS Jolly Trooper Hey, it's me! 12:00, 14 April 2022 (UTC)
