Comic book (history - links - logs - delete - protect)

This article is an OOU article that violates our policy in regards to the existence of dictionary articles the same way that novel did.

Edit: Per, Toprawa, I've added an option to merge list of comics, Comic strip, and Webstrips into this page.

Keep

It would be more useful to turn this into a redirect to either List of comics or Category:Comics. Or better yet, merge/move List of comics into this page. Then it wouldn't be a dictionary article, and we'd have one less "List of" article. This is actually what we should have done with Novel. Merge list of comics, Comic strip and Webstrips into comic book

  1. Deleting this page serves no purpose. Redirects are cheap, and it's a realistic search term. I will also point out that the "Not a dictionary" section of the policy page being cited here pertains to in-universe articles, which this is not. It's a misapplication to try and lump this into that policy. We have a long and storied dislike for "List" articles, so here's a chance to get rid of one of them. If we want to make this page as useful, reader-friendly, and visible as possible, the best thing to do is merge List of comics into this page and then rename it Star Wars comic books or Star Wars comics. That maximizes its SEO reach and eliminates any doubt of whether this is a dictionary article. Matter of fact, this is already what's going on with the Video game article. List of Video Games redirects to that page, where the reader can find a nice, comprehensive listing of all Star Wars video games without the maligned "List of" title.
