Novel (history - links - logs - delete - protect)

Our policy against dictionary articles makes certain exceptions for items with notable in-universe characteristics, but this article is not even an in-universe one; it documents the real-world definition of "novel." This is not an obscure English word that readers need explained to them; in any cases where its meaning is unclear, a link to the Wikipedia page would be appropriate.
