Category:Video game consoles (history - links - logs - delete - protect)
This is pretty straight forward. I'm putting up a TC to delete all video game console articles. As it currently stands, those articles are only used to list games that came out in that specifc console, which a category can do just as well and without the mess that comes with making an article. If you take a look below, some of these articles doesn't even need to be on here to begin with, such as Steam.
I'm not doing a subvote, but rather a massive sweep (bc there are way too much for that). Moving forward with the deletion, we can just pipelink game consoles to their respective Wikipedia articles instead. Additionally, we can also add auto inclusion for console categories similar to how year publication categories are auto included when you fill in the "Release date" field.
These are the affected articles:
- 32X
- 3DO
- Android (operating system)
- Atari 2600
- Atari 5200
- Atari 8-bit
- ColecoVision
- Commodore 64
- Dreamcast
- Google Stadia
- Intellivision
- iOS
- Linux
- Mac
- Nintendo
- Oculus Quest
- Personal computer
- PlayStation
- PlayStation 2
- PlayStation 3
- PlayStation 4
- PlayStation 5
- PlayStation Portable
- PlayStation Vita
- R-Zone
- Sega CD
- Sega Game Gear
- Steam
- Xbox
Do want to add that while a bunch of Sega and Atari consoles are listed above, I'm not including the Sega and Atari company itself as part of the deletion since those companies did make arcade games for Star Wars. Bonzane10

Comments
- I will put my comment on Discord here too: this should be followed with a CT to Wookieepedia:Notability policy, reading something like "Wookieepedia does not maintain articles for computers, operating systems, video game consoles and online distribution platforms." to prevent the creation of any missing past and future platforms.
