This topic got quite a decent bit of discussion on Discord (and actually a poll on Wook's socials to boot) and we have some existing cases. Thus for those cases, makes sense to update the corresponding clause. Has the added benefit of being able to show example cases in the policy to point out how these might look when done well (laid out in a clean and organized manner); as most people probably don't know its even done as a thing given its so new.

So for the "Images may not be uploaded for use in an image gallery, with the following exceptions:" of WP:F: to add a point:

"Galleries on disambiguation pages, to visually represent the relevant subjects (examples: Unidentified Imperial officer (disambiguation) and Unidentified species (disambiguation))

This does mean that, should maybe one of these pages opt to upload an image just for the disambig gallery at a different crop ratio than the subject's page has (just to illustrate the disambig page) that's fine. Obviously most of them will be re-used elsewhere, but all might not be.
