Hello friends, this is a two-part CT based on the Senate Hall of the same name. Pretty mixed opinions, but also a lot of them, and it's been open since mid-March so I figured I'd just let it fly since the chatter seems to have stalled.

There's one topic—renaming the TC forum wholesale—that was also discussed. There wasn't a ton of comments on it though so we'll just leave the SH where it is and see if it gains traction before putting it forward.—spookywillowwtalk 20:42, 9 May 2024 (UTC)

  3. Alas, we aren't able to do plurality votes at the moment due to having scrapped that clause and not brought it back yet. I added the two options that seemed to have the most backing on the SH off-glance. However, feel free to add any options from the SH not here if you'd like as its own section. I'd just ask to keep in mind to not have our votes split too many ways (or else it'll fail, so we'll be stuck with no quote.)
  4. I left "What's this?" out despite suggestion because its already used on another template, though.

Like I said in the Senate Hall thread, this quote was by Princess Leia during the same original trash compacter scene in Episode IV. The "Vote of no confidence" idea comes across more as a quote relevant to site policy or community roles (especially given the quote's context). "Don't just stand there!" keeps the template quote relevant to the TC scene reference while also serving as a general warning or call to action, which better fits the idea of the TC forum SorcererSupreme21 (talk) 21:27, 9 May 2024 (UTC)

Personally, I prefer keeping it as Trash compactor, and having the quote as "One thing's for sure, we're all gonna be a lot thinner." This fits, since we're voting on "thinning out" Wookieepedia pages. - JMAS Jolly Trooper Hey, it's me! 22:17, 9 May 2024 (UTC)
