Hello, Just pulling some (relatively minor, honestly) changes to the Wookieepedia:Protection policy forward from the relevant SH. The changes can be found here and the changes can be summarized as:

• Switching QOTD (now-retired) for WOTM as a semi-protected page example.
• Noting that protection requests can alternatively be left in the Discord (standard practice by now).
• A note that—in cases of an upload reversion war regarding an image voted on via {{ImageVote}} in the Consensus track—these images can be upload protected to ensure the community-chosen version stays intact.
• A note that—should a user's profile and subpages be blanked with {{Inactive}} per the user page policy, the semi-protection on their pages can be removed until they request it re-added. This helps keep Special:ProtectedPages clean because makes it much easier to track current/valid protections if we're able to clean it off ancient userpages.

So tldr just a small bit of cleanup, as the policy's remained stable since c. 2012.—spookywilloww^talk 16:24, 23 February 2024 (UTC)
