This Consensus Track spawned from a conversation in Discord, but I believe it's a simple enough change not to warrant a Senate Hall. To put it simply, the idea is to update the signature policy to accommodate users who rely on screen readers to navigate the wiki.

Change the first clause under Wookieepedia:Signature_policy#Rules_for_customized_signatures from: 

include your actual username.

to: 

include text that exactly matches your Fandom username, with the same characters in the same order.

This change would allow users to include stylized versions of their name or a preferred name while still displaying their actual Fandom username. An excellent example of this is DFaceG's signature: Thannus (DFaceG) (he/him) (talk)
