This is a minor procedural wording change to the GAN rules in the wake of the recent CT that removed the 3000-word GAN rule. I noticed that GAN Rule 9 still has some residual wording regarding GANs exceeding 1000 words that should now be revised.

Rule 9 currently reads: …have significant information, especially a biography for character articles. For articles under 1000 words in length, comprehensive detail is required with all information covered from all sources and appearances.

With the new rule changes, obviously now all GANs will be 1000 words or less, so the second sentence in this rule point has the potential to come off as misleading. Additionally, the "significant information" bit originally spoke to articles that were not required to be comprehensive, and is thus now obsolete, while the "biography for character articles" is now a redundant no-brainer, covered already by GAN Rule 4, which states that articles must adhere to the Layout Guide, which requires a Biography section for character articles. So, I suggest simply to amend Rule 9 to state the basics of what is required here:
