Running up a quick CT from the Senate Hall that's been up so it doesn't get lost. To add to the "Infobox galleries" section of the IU LG below the point for character articles:

Infobox galleries on droid articles: may contain a maximum of two images if significant visible differences are present, such as the gray-plated and gold-plated versions of C-3PO.

(Note: While I realize the SH didn't get a ton of comments, it is, somewhat, a sort of pass or fail thing anyway so at least it'll be settled either way on here to close the topic definitively. This is also tweaked from the character wording to more reflect the visual differences aspect of the locations clause; in most cases, putting an image in for each decade of a droid wouldn't help a ton since they look basically the same still unless something's happened to them and aging is generally more prevalent for organics.)—spookywillowwtalk 16:59, 10 January 2025 (UTC)

  13. Should've probably specifically included droid individuals in the original proposal so that droids can rightfully be on par with standard organic characters, but alas! OOM 224 (he/him/they) 22:35, 10 January 2025 (UTC)
  14. While I'll support this because it's the right direction, I feel like we once again fall slightly short by limiting to 2 when the primary example of C-3PO has three versions that should be included in the infobox: standard gold, AOTC silver, and TPM uncovered.
