The result of the debate was an equipment section will not be added to character infoboxes. Green Tentacle (Talk) 16:17, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
I wanted to propose a "equipment" line be added to this template, and possibly the same to all other character infoboxes---CT-1987 13:45, 13 March 2009 (UTC)
Add to TEMPLATES
CT-1987 17:03, 13 March 2009 (UTC)(Stricken per Forum:CT Archive/Single issue voters)- A character's eye color isn't (generally) going to change during their life. Their equipment is whatever they happen to have that day. How in the world would this be useful information or feasible to add to any infobox? 76.6.3.69 19:11, 13 March 2009 (UTC)
Leave it be
- I'm afraid this is just going to clutter up the infobox and make it unnecessarily long. Also, what defines acceptable equipment infobox content? Something someone used three times? We have an "Equipment" section as outlined by the Layout Guide, which is more than enough for our needs. Toprawa and Ralltiir 20:09, 13 March 2009 (UTC)

- Per what's been said above, except there's no reason why anyone can't start a CT, even if they're not an eligible voter. -- AdmirableAckbar (Talk) 19:39, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
- Why should they be able to start a CT if they havent worked on the Wook for the short amount of time it takes to get 50 mainspace edits? NaruHina Talk

- Why shouldn't they? The Single Issue Voter policy is to prevent sockpuppets and meatpuppets interfering, not to deny new users an opinion on something or a right to suggest changes. -- AdmirableAckbar (Talk) 16:49, 16 March 2009 (UTC)

Comments
In response to Naru's comments above (posting here, for clarity, etc.), the a CT forum is meant to be a discussion first and foremost, not a hasty vote, although it might not always seem this way. Not all CTs may even end up as a vote. While not everyone can vote right away, anyone can start a forum for discussion to float an idea. Toprawa and Ralltiir 16:58, 16 March 2009 (UTC)
