Hey, so, per the most recent SMT proposal, new account creations or officializing their activations (from namecamps) are now formalized via CT. This Facebook profile has existed since the old one was taken over by Tope in 2021; it was initially intended as a namecamp account for such a time we could restart it. Nowadays, it occasionally autoposts our Instagram feed through the repost feature embedded in Meta; it's fully under the control of the current SMT.

This account isn't listed on Wookieepedia:Social Media Team and thus wasn't grandfathered in with the others; main reasons being we wanted to get that through in a timely manner, but were also still getting on our feet. But, I'd like to put forward formalizing this Facebook profile not because we'll be terribly active, but, we can still send a good stream of content via Instagram to crosspost. Additionally, one concern we have is being able to still contact SW creators, when needed, for information and stuff such as letterless cover art, which is becoming harder as people flee Twitter, but keep their Instas and Facebooks. If this were to not pass, though, the crossposting would cease, though I'd argue namecamping the title can't hurt.
