Hello everyone! I previously suggested a "Feathers" (Feather color) parameter for our {{Character}} infobox template on a Senate Hall forum, Forum:SH:"Feathers" parameter in the Character infobox template. This parameter, which you can see in action here, would be consistent with our {{Species}} infobox template, which already includes a "Feathers" parameter.

Many feathered characters' articles don't mention their feather color in their infoboxes or article bodies. Some articles do (such as Ban Papeega and Feathers spokesman) include feather color in their infoboxes, but do so in the "hair" parameter. That parameter is exclusively for hair, and not for feathers. A "Feathers" parameter would prevent such an error and would allow readers to know what a character's feather color was just after opening their article.

For more details and other users' opinions, go to Forum:SH:"Feathers" parameter in the Character infobox template. If this Consensus Track is successful, a "Feathers" parameter will be added to the Character infobox. It would be placed between the "hair" and "eyes" parameters.
