Forsyth Wry was a Jedi Master of the Jedi Order during the High Republic Era.[2] In 228 BBY,[1] the Jedi Master was part of missions carried out by the Jedi and Republic Defense Coalition to cross the Nihil pirates Stormwall hyperspace barrier using the Sunvale device to rescue refugees from the Nihil's Occlusion Zone region of space and bring them to Republic space. For Wry's mission, they were sent to rescue five refugees alongside a pilot of[2] the pirate queen[3] Maz Kanata.[2]
While transporting the refugees back to Republic space, however, the Jedi Master, the pilot, and the five refugees were all killed. Before she undertook one such mission of her own[2] later that same year,[1] Jedi Master Avar Kriss mentally recalled Wry's death, noting that their mission had been the second failed one that had been undertaken.[2]
