- "Still, I really doubt he's walking around in that royal getup. Who knows what he looks like under all of that?"
- ―The Sakiyan
A Sakiyan was present on the planet Zenarita[1] at some point between 2 BBY and 0 ABY.[2] While standing in a street with a Twi'lek, the Sakiyan looked at a hologram of Prince Arluu, the only member of Zenarita's royal family who had avoided being captured by the Galactic Empire. The Sakiyan noted their surprise at the 100,000 credit bounty that had been placed on Arluu, and the Twi'lek commented it had been raised again. The Sakiyan then noted it was unlikely Arluu was still wearing the same clothing he was depicted wearing in a hologram and that his appearance would be different without it. The Twi'lek responded that they hoped the Sakiyan was correct. The pair's conversation was overheard by the smuggler Chita as she walked past them. The Sakiyan had brown eyes and pale skin, and they wore gray clothing.[1]

The Sakiyan appeared in "The Smuggler," a non-canon short film released as part of the third volume of the Star Wars: Visions series. The animated short, produced by Trigger, was released on Disney+[1] on October 29, 2025.[3]
