- "The booster to give you the strength of a wampa!"
"Uh, this just looks like bacta with coloring." - ―The merchant and Kay Vess
The booster of wampa strength was an item offered for sale by a merchant working out of a stall in the Wonto District market bazaar in the city Mos Eisley on the planet Tatooine. The merchant claimed that the booster provided the consumer with the strength of the wampa species, but in actuality it was a vial of medicinal bacta with added coloring.[1]
In 3 ABY,[2] the thief Kay Vess approached the merchant, who offered to sell her the booster or a solution of Loth-Cat dexterity to dispel her skepticism. However, when Vess suggested that the scam products were zoochberry juice in a vial, the merchant told her to keep her voice down and then offered one of the two products as a free sample in exchange for the thief not informing the criminal Hutt Cartel of their scams.[1]
Behind the scenes
The booster of wampa strength appeared in the 2024 Massive Entertainment video game, Star Wars Outlaws. The encounter with the merchant is optional, and the player can choose to select either the booster or the solution, although both options result in them gaining a single bacta vial.[1]
