The Tyne's Horky system was a star system in the Teraab sector within the Mid Rim Territories[3] and the Slice.[2] It fell within grid square Q-11 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1]
Behind the scenes
In the current Star Wars canon, the Tyne's Horky system was mentioned as just "Tyne's Horky" on a map of the galaxy[1] designed by Christopher Ibbitt[4] and written by Jason Fry[5] in the reference book Star Wars: Complete Locations, New Edition,[1] which was released on March 6, 2025.[6] It was then identified as the Tyne's Horky system in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published with the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[3] on June 24, 2025. Both were also written by Fry.[7]
The system originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it first appeared in "The Lost Prince,"[8] the fifth episode of the animated series Star Wars: Droids: The Adventures of R2-D2 and C-3PO, which aired on October 5, 1985.[9] It was then identified for the first time in The Essential Atlas, a 2009 reference book by Fry and Daniel Wallace.[10]
