- "I found a trap!"
"Ah, yes, I hear the turrets! My master gunner's pride and joy. Until he tripped his own pressure plates..." - ―Kay Vess to Hondo Ohnaka
A member of the Ohnaka Gang was considered by the gang's leader, Hondo Ohnaka be a master gunner. At least twenty cycles[1] before 3 ABY,[2] the gunner setup a series of turrets connected to pressure plates at the Ohnaka Hideout on the planet Tatooine; a setup he was proud of until he later triggered his own pressure plates.[1] In 3 ABY.[2] a number of turrets were still functional while the thief Kay Vess was searching the hideout for the Architect's Scepter, an artifact that Ohnaka had stashed at the hideout before the gang abandoned the hideout twenty cycles earlier. After Vess triggered one of the traps during searched she contacted Ohnaka, who she was currently working, and learned of the gunner's fate.[1]
