"Oh, sorry, he's just saying hello. This is Nix."
"Look at those little tendrils! Where's he from?"
"No idea. He was taken from his home."
"Oh, poor thing. You know, I have some Anzellan goggles that might fit him."

A Human merchant with light skin and green eyes operated a merchant stall in Mos Eisley on the Outer Rim desert planet Tatooine[1] during 3 ABY. That year,[2] they had at least one set of Anzellan goggles. While working at their stall they wore a black hood, a tan shirt, an orange dress and black boots.[1]

This section of the article assumes 100% game completion of Star Wars Outlaws. Any alternate stories may be noted in the "Behind the scenes" section. The events in this section may or may not have been confirmed as canon.

In 3 ABY,[2] they were approached by the merqaal Nix and his human companion Kay Vess. Interested in the merqaal and his tendrils. The merchant inquired about his homeworld before offering the merqaal a pair of Anzellan googles. Vess initial dismissed the offer citing the assumed price, but the merchant insisted on giving it to Nix for free.[1]

Behind the scenes

The merchant appeared in the 2024 video game, Star Wars Outlaws developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. They are not part of any quest but will give the player the "Dust goggles" Nix cosmetic.[1]
