Jonkah Rremset was a Mon Calamari merchant who worked from a stall in Mirogana Market on the moon Toshara. They specialized in consumables but sold a variety of items. In 3 ABY, the thief Kay Vess aided Rremset when two Imperial stormtroopers tried to extort the merchant.

Biography

Jonkah Rremset was a Mon Calamari merchant who operated on the upper level of the market in the city of Mirogana on the Outer Rim moon Toshara. They sold a variety of items but specialized in consumables.[1] In 3 ABY,[2] the merchant's stock included two units of polycarbonate, four units of coarseweave, and three vials of bacta.[1]

Shortly after Rremset had renewed their scandocs, the thief Kay Vess interacted with the merchant. As the interaction came to an end, the Imperial stormtrooper PT-969 and a second trooper approached and PT-969 informed Rremset that the merchant's scandocs had expired. The Mon Calamari protested that the documents had been recently renewed, but the trooper ignored the information and then tried to extort Rremset for credits. Vess then interrupted and dealt with the Imperials for Rremset, who was hugely thankful and provided the thief with a temporary discount.[1]

After missing multiple tax payments to the Empire, a delivery to Rremset, which included juma juice, bacta vials and spotchka, confiscated by a customs officer at Renpalli Station. The officer bet heavily on a game of sabacc, which they lost. Rremset requested Kay Vess' assistance once more, offering her a permanent discount at the stall if she returned the cargo to him. Vess traveled to Renpalli station and the officer agreed to return Rremset's stock if Vess could win back the officer's bet. After Vess won the game of sabacc, the officer held their end of the bargain and released Rremset's shipment. Vess contacted Rremset and told the merchant the good news, which delighted Rremset, who affirmed that Vess would always receive the best price they could offer.[1]

Kay Vess later visited Rremset personally, due to her help, the Mon Calamari's business started doing very well. The merchant once again assured Vess that she will permanently have a discount at the stall.[1]
