Biography

«Coming up behind you, Brink—hold on… One down—wait, no! Brink!»
"Dammit…he's gone."
―Urtis and Darna[2]

Brink was a human pilot in the Starfighter Corps of the New Republic during its war against the Galactic Empire.[2] Between 4 ABY and 5 ABY,[1] he flew a BTL-A4 Y-wing assault starfighter/bomber against Imperial forces serving Grand General Kenner Loring in[2] the Malastare system[3] over Loring's base of operations on[2] the planet[3] Malastare. Near an Imperial-class Star Destroyer, Brink's starfighter was swarmed by TIE/ln space superiority starfighters and he called out to his squadmates Darna and Urtis over comms for aid.[2]

Brink was killed by the Imperial forces of Grand General Kenner Loring over Malastare.

Brink was killed by the Imperial forces of Grand General Kenner Loring over Malastare.

Urtis responded from their A/SF-01 B-wing starfighter, first in Basic and then in Sullustese, and positioned their starship behind the TIEs, but Brink was not reassured and, as Urtis shot down one TIE, another scored a hit on Brink's engine that caused his Y-wing to exploded, killing him. Darna cursed his death, but Urtis reminded her there was no time for mourning and continued the fight, although both pilots were also killed by the Imperials soon after.[2]
