Harnesses were a type of military gear worn across the torso. In Wookiee culture, harnesses and armor evolved from ceremonial clan regalia.[1] An Ommin harness was a type of cybernetic spine. During the New Republic Era and the subsequent First Order-Resistance War, the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Sidious wore an Ommin harness within his citadel on Exegol due to his decaying physical body.[2]
