- "Hey, I need to talk to Gorak?"
"You don't look like a Pyke. And you're not getting up there without an invitation." - ―Kay Vess to bartender
A human bartender with dark skin, red hair, and brown eyes worked at Makal's Gambling Parlor in the city of Mirogana on the Outer Rim moon Toshara[1] in 3 ABY.[2] During which they also helped restrict access to a private suite above the parlor owned by the Pyke underboss Gorak Palas.[1] While working at the parlor they wore a black vest over a tan shirt, brown gloves and black pants. In 3 ABY,[2] they were approached by a thief named Kay Vess who was hoping to meet with Palas. Being a newcomer to the moon without an invitation, the bartender dismissed Vess's request. Vess eventually returned to the parlor after taking a job from a contract broker named Danka Orsato, who was regular at the parlor. When Vess approached the turbolift that led to the suite and instead of stopping Vess the bartender told her it was her funeral.[1]
Behind the scenes
The bartender appeared in the 2024 video game, Star Wars Outlaws developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. The player can purchase the "Ticket to Gorak's suite" quest item from a human at the entrance to the parlor for fifty credits. If they do and return to the bartender they will be told that they were conned and the ticket item will be renamed to "Fake ticket to Gorak's suite" and moved from the quest items to a sellable item.[1]
