Underboss

An underboss was a member of criminal syndicates who were responsible for making alliances, ordering executions,^[3] and managing the organization's interest on worlds or regions of space.^[2] Vigos of the Black Sun syndicate insulated their public persona by using a network of bosses and underbosses.^[4]

In 3 ABY,^[5] the Pyke Gorak Palas served as an underboss for the Pyke Syndicate in the Outer Rim Toshaal system. During the same year, an individual named Theumati served as the Pyke Syndicate's underboss on the jungle planet Akiva also located in the Outer Rim region of the galaxy.^[2] By 5 ABY,^[6] Black Sun had a female underboss named Rynscar based on Nar Shaddaa the moon of Nal Hutta.^[1] The Red Key Raiders was a priate group with an underboss named Magnus the Bloodsoaked that emerged following the fall of the Galactic Empire.^[3]
