Around 9 ABY,[2] a grayish-skinned, orange-eyed male Hutt was a guest to[1] Skull Ridge Mountain Hotel & Spa[3] on the planet of Lanupa. One day, while relaxing in a mud bath, the Hutt was served a tray of food by a Troglof attendant. Dissatisfied with the contents of the tray, the Hutt instead grasped the attendant[1] himself[4] and ate him,[5] shrugging off his desperate pleas not to do so again.[1]

The Hutt first appeared in "You Have a Lot to Learn About Pirates," the fifth episode of the live-action television series Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, streaming on Disney+. The character was voiced by one of the series' sound editors, David W. Collins. In addition, Collins manually cut the popping sounds that are heard in the scene with the Hutt.[5]
