- "Oh, oh… no, no, sir. Not again. Please, no."
- ―A Troglof server, to a Hutt
During the New Republic Era, a Troglof worked as an attendant at[1] Skull Ridge Mountain Hotel & Spa[3] on the planet of Lanupa.[1] Around 9 ABY,[4] he[2] tended to a male Hutt who was taking a mud bath in the facility. The attendant brought the Hutt a tray of foodstuff, humming along the way and bowing to them before presenting the meal. Upon closer examination, however, the guest rejected the food and instead helped themselves to the attendant. When grasped in the Hutt's hand, the Troglof pleaded with them not to do so again[1] before he finally ended up eaten by the guest.[5]
The spa attendant was a gray-skinned Troglof. He had an elongated and rounded head, with the eyes located on appendages that protruded from the top of his head. He wore his dark-gray hair combed back into a single plait and sported a beige tunic adorned with patterned stripes.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Troglof spa attendant debuted in "You Have a Lot to Learn About Pirates,"[1] a Star Wars: Skeleton Crew episode that premiered on December 25, 2024.[6] As revealed by series sound editor David W. Collins, he was voiced by series co-creator Christopher Ford.[5]

- ↑ Star Wars: Timelines dates the events of "Chapter 1: The Mandalorian" of The Mandalorian Season One to 9 ABY. In addition,
"A Certain Point of View" — Star Wars Insider 228 also dates "Part Seven: Dreams and Madness" to nine years after the events of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, which corresponds to 9 ABY per Timelines. "Part Seven: Dreams and Madness" takes place after the conflict on Mandalore, which is the main event depicted in "Chapter 23: The Spies" and "Chapter 24: The Return," the final two episodes of The Mandalorian Season Three. Therefore, Seasons One through Three of Star Wars: The Mandalorian must all be set in 9 ABY as well.
SWCA 2022: 20 Highlights from Lucasfilm's Studio Showcase on StarWars.com (backup link) states that Star Wars: Skeleton Crew takes place in the same timeframe as Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Star Wars: Ahsoka—the latter of which can also be dated to 9 ABY following the reasoning here. As such, Skeleton Crew must take place around 9 ABY as well.
