The Ethrani system was a star system located in the grid square N-5 of the Standard Galactic Grid, in the Valahari sector, which was a part of the D'Astan sector and positioned in the Outer Rim Territories[2] and the New Territories.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Ethrani system was mentioned in the current Star Wars canon via the appendix Star Systems of the Galaxy, published on the StarWars.com website[2] as part of Star Wars Galaxy Map[3] on June 24, 2025. Both works were authored by Jason Fry.[4] The system was originally introduced in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it was mentioned in the StarWars.com Online Companion to the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas.[5]
