"Where are we heading?"
"An Imperial labor camp on Erebus."
"Ooh, I like this already."
Phee Genoa and Crosshair[3]

Erebus was a planet[3] located in the Erebus system in the Colonies.[2] A mountainous and muddy world, Erebus had valuable resources that would be extracted by Imperial strip mining, which left the terrain even more barren and potholed.[4] Erebus housed an Imperial labor camp which utilized prisoners for their mining operations.[3]

Around 18 BBY,[5] Clone Force 99 landed on Erebus to infiltrate the labor camp and extract former Vice Admiral Edmon Rampart in order to acquire the coordinates of Tantiss Base from him.[3]

  5. Per the reasoning here, Season 2 of Star Wars: The Bad Batch takes place around 18 BBY. The tally marks made by Omega in The Bad Batch Season 3's first episode, "Confined," indicate the episode must take place at least twenty-one standard days following her capture as depicted in the Season 2 episode "Plan 99." According to StarWars.com "Confined" Trivia Guide | Star Wars The Bad Batch on StarWars.com (backup link), Omega spends about 164 further days in captivity by the end of "Confined." As such, the events of Season 3 must begin around 18 BBY.
