Elder was a title used by religious figures,[1] members of leadership or authority, and older beings of various species.[2] The title was held by the Khepi A'shora while they were a part of an envoy from their world to Coruscant in the Galactic Republic during the High Republic Era.[1] During the New Republic Era the Jedi Luke Skywalker was rumored to have met a Lew'elan Elder named Kailla-Glon-Vow when he visited the aquatic planet Lew'el.[2]
