Lew'el, which meant deluge, was an aquatic planet located in the Wild Space of the galaxy. Originally settled by humans a long time ago, Lew'el remained a largely forgotten world by those who craved power. Humans native to Lew'el were called Lew'elans.
History
The Lew'elan were a seafaring peoples.
The settlers who came to[2] the Wild Space[1] planet a long time ago named their new world Lew'el, which means "deluge", and lived by the sea, which provided everything they needed. With Lew'el remaining a largely forgotten world.[2]
Lew'el was where Luke Skywalker learned to spearfish,[2] something that would help him survive during his time on Ahch-To.[3]
