The Dutar system was located in the Core Worlds[1] and the Interior[2] in grid square L-10 of the Standard Galactic Grid. It was situated between the Bar'leth and Wukkar systems on the Corellian Run hyperlane[1] and contained the moons of Dutar.[3]
Behind the scenes
The Dutar system was first mentioned in Pablo Hidalgo's 2025 reference book Star Wars: The Acolyte: The Visual Guide on a galaxy map authored by Jason Fry and Christopher Ibbitt.[1] The October 14, 2025 update to[4] "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published with the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[5] on June 24 of the same year—with both works being authored by Fry[6]—subsequently identified the system by name.[5]
