Dhen-Moh was an Inner Rim Territories astronomical object where the Galactic Empire, including the Sith Lord Darth Vader carried out genocides. Multiple individuals reflected on the atrocity later on, particularly in respect to Vader's involvement.

Description

Dhen-Moh was a terrestrial astronomical object[2] in the Inner Rim Territories's Dhen-Moh system at the coordinates K-14 on the Standard Galactic Grid.[1]

History

During its reign, the Empire ordered genocides on Dhen-Moh.[4] The Sith Lord Darth Vader notably took part in the atrocity, killing masses with his lightsaber.[2] The defecting Imperial Governor Everi Chalis mentioned the genocides as an example of Vader's reputation to Hazram Namir, a First Sergeant in the Rebel Alliance's 61st Mobile Infantry,[3] in 3 ABY.[5]

In 4 ABY,[6] Yrica Quell, an Imperial pilot who had defected to the Alliance's successor, the New Republic, reflected on Operation: Cinder, a genocide ordered by the Emperor himself. Quell considered the difference between the Dhen-Moh genocides and Cinder as that between ruthlessness and cruelty.[4] In[2] his[7] 35 ABY[8] book The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire, the historian Beaumont Kin commented that Darth Vader and his lightsaber on Dhen-Moh was just as effective of a mass killing as the Empire's extermination of the Geonosian species with chemical weapons[2] around 9 BBY.[9]
