"The Hutts sent her to collect protection money from a children's medcenter on Novor. The Sisters of the Ninth Plane, who were running the place, well, they wouldn't pay up. Told her to leave. She left all right, but not before she turned her frigate's thrusters on the sanctuary. Brought the walls down on them. The Sisters. The young ones. No one survived. She claims it was an accident, but she knew what she was doing. She wanted everyone to know."
―Sestin Blin, on Ola Hest[1]

By 231 BBY,[2] a children's medcenter on the astronomical object Novor was destroyed by the Hutt Clan enforcer Ola Hest after the Sisters of the Ninth Plane who ran the medcenter refused to pay Hest protection money she was sent to collect. After the Sisters told Hest to leave, she aimed her frigate's thrusters at the building, bringing it down and killing all inside, later claiming it had been an accident. Hest was eventually captured[1] by Jedi Master Porter Engle on[3] the Hutt Space planet[4] Nal Hutta[3] and imprisoned on the Galactic Republic prison ship Restitution.[1]

In 231 BBY,[2] Restitution prisoner Sestin Blin told Lourna Dee, a Nihil Tempest Runner also imprisoned there, about Hest's destruction of the children's medcenter. Blin believed it had not been an accident, stating Hest knew what she was doing and wanted people to know. After Blin suggested not antagonizing Hest, Dee questioned if it was because she would drop a building on her, noting people had "tried worse."[1]

Behind the scenes

The destruction of the children's medcenter was mentioned in The High Republic: Tempest Runner, a 2021 audio drama written by Cavan Scott and published as a part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[5] Phase I.[6]
