The Derricon system was a star system located in the Spirva sector of the Mid Rim Territories[1] and the Western Reaches.[2] It was situated in grid square L-17 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1]

Behind the scenes

In the current Star Wars canon, the Derricon system was mentioned in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published alongside the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[1] on June 24, 2025. Both were written by Jason Fry.[3] The system originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it was mentioned in the StarWars.com Online Companion to the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas by Daniel Wallace and Fry.[4]
