Although this article is based on canonical information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

A short-lived civil war occurred on the[2] Wild Space[3] swamp planet Derenzil. Members of the Geonosian species supplied both sides of the conflict with highly specialized, aquatic sonic weapons that were manufactured in a factory near the Stalgasin hive on the planet Geonosis. Due to the risk posed by the project, the factory was equipped with a fighter hangar; however,[2] by 22 BBY,[1] the facility had been abandoned.[2]

Behind the scenes

In the current Star Wars canon, the civil war on Derenzil was mentioned in the 2016 reference book Star Wars: Complete Locations. It was part of material reprinted[2] from the 2003 reference book Inside the Worlds of Star Wars: Attack of the Clones, which was written by Simon Beecroft and Curtis Saxton and marked the first mention of the war in the Star Wars Legends continuity.[4]
