The Derelict Dam was a location on the Outer Rim planet Koboh. Within Dredger Gorge, the Derelict Dam area was actually a series of dams that at one point held back deadly black tar, which allowed priorite prospectors to access new areas in search of their quarry.^[1] By 9 BBY,^[2] the dams of the area had been rusted through, with cracks and leaks in many sections, allowing the tar to pass through. At least one dam appeared to have been destroyed from deliberate sabotage. The dams still had flow pipes spanning two separate reservoirs, which, when functional, would shunt tar between two dams and maintain safe levels for the prospectors. When Jedi Knight Cal Kestis arrived at Koboh, he discovered that the Derelict Dam area was under control of the Bedlam Raiders and their repurposed army of battle droids. Nestled on a cliff overlooking the area lived the gorocco matriarch.^[1]
