The Depatar system was a star system located in the Cademimu sector of the Outer Rim Territories. It was located in grid square L-6 on the Standard Galactic Grid[1] and contained a planet that was the site of the spaceport Depatar.[2]
Behind the scenes
In the Star Wars Legends continuity, Depatar was a floating city above the gas giant Genarius in the Cularin system.[3] The 2025 "Star Systems of the Galaxy" appendix of star systems placed the Depatar system in the Cademimu sector of the Outer Rim to be near the Lost Souls asteroid field,[1] conflicting with the Legends placement of Genarius in the Expansion Region,[4] but the appendix's author Jason Fry has stated that Depatar's Outer Rim placement will be kept.[5]
