The sister-in-law of Dennet Clyde worked as a secretary in his office. She was regularly bullied by Dennet Clyde, who often sought to shift the blame onto her. Clyde was also the leader of a minor crime syndicate known as the Hammers, which operated on Thorum. She had a sister who was married to Clyde. During a mission for Crimson Dawn, Qi'ra befriended the secretary while investigating how the Hammers had gotten access to the Crimson Dawn's navigational data in the Karthakk sector. The sister-in-law and Clyde were later killed by a bomb planted by the Crimson Dawn.[1]

Biography

Clyde's sister-in-law worked as a secretary in his office. While Clyde posed as a lumber worker who had become a shipping agent, he was the leader of a minor crime syndicate on the planet Thorum known as the Hammers. Due to a traitor within ranks of the Crimson Dawn syndicate, the Hammers gained access to a map of the Crimson Dawn's operations in the Karthakk sector. While investigating the leak, Qi'ra visited Clyde's office, posing as a wealthy grain buyer named Elessa Norre.[1]

During the meeting, Clyde blamed his sister-in-law for erasing her appointment, causing the secretary to turn white with fear. The secretary was present when Qi'ra negotiated the purchase of Clyde's entire crop of delweed. While Clyde prepared the paperwork, Qi'ra chatted with the secretary and learnt that Clyde was her brother-in-law. The sister-in-law told her that Clyde treated her sister well. Qi'ra thanked her for serving her a drink. The secretary explained that their droids had been taken offline due to a data breach at the InterGalactic Banking Clan. She said that the droids were being checked by the tech unit. Before leaving, Qi'ra told the secretary that she would return the following day to sign the contract.[1]

The secretary was present when Qi'ra returned to sign the agreement. Qi'ra also befriended one of the Clyde's droids and learnt that the Hammers had a mole within the Crimson Dawn. After giving the droid a memory wipe, Qi'ra signed the contract with Clyde. Qi'ra later attempted to vouch for the secretary as a source of information. However, the Mizi Crimson Dawn lieutenant revealed that the secretary and Clyde had been killed during a bomb attack. The Mizi described her death as collateral damage. Qi'ra later told the Mizi that the secretary had helped her expose the Crimson Dawn leak. This prompted the Mizi to remark that "they always ignore the girls in the back. Right up until they can't."[1]
